Frequently Asked Questions

Want a sneak peak into what you can expect from your campaign with Undoxxed? We’ve assembled some commonly asked questions below.

Am I going to be locked into a long contract?

No. You can cancel at any time, we only need a heads-up 5 days before your next billing so we don’t use resources setting up the following month’s campaign.

Who owns the digital assets created for my campaign?

You do! Any websites we create and host on our servers can be transferred to you if desired, usually for no cost. If we buy domains for your campaign they can be transferred to you as well once the registrar’s holding period has expired. (Most clients opt to keep their sites hosted on our servers even if they don’t have an active campaign. Our hosting is super-fast and probably cheaper than you can find anywhere else.)

How quickly does reputation management work?

While we don’t control any search engine’s algorithm, we do have 100% control over the quality and speed of deployment of our strategies. You should start to see movement to some degree as soon as in a couple of weeks. “Clearing Page 1” is going to look differently for every client, and we do our best to give reasonable expectations prior to your signing up.

Having worked with hundreds of clients over the years, we usually have a pretty good idea of what we’re up against once we review your reputation landscape.

Can you remove content from the internet?

Sometimes. Defamatory content that violates a platform’s Terms of Service, fake reviews, and copyright violations are often good targets for takedown attempts.

When it comes to personal data removal that is hosted on directory-type sites, “arrest record” sites, and data aggregators, we are IMMENSELY successful at getting these wiped clean or deleted altogether.

Can you edit a Wikipedia page about me or my company?

Yes, in many cases. We have over 10 years’ experience in Wikipedia page creation and page editing and we follow all Wikipedia guidelines related to sources, journalism, and notability requirements so that our edits survive the scrutiny of others on the platform.

Removal of properly sourced Wikipedia material is usually a no-go, but we’re happy to review your requests and we’ll give you an educated assessment about the chances of success.

Will you sign an NDA?

Of course! Privacy is a value that we hold dearly and you can expect that anyone working on your campaign is also under our own internal non-disclosure policy. We will never sell your information to outsiders. (Duh! This would be anathema to our mission of course!). We will never make a case study displaying identifiable information about you or your brand without express consent from you. We will never “name drop” to prospective clients, partners, vendors, etc. any details about your engagement.

You get the picture…

Does your reputation management approach only work on Google?

Nope. While Google still holds the largest market share of consumer search, we also structure our work to be successful on Bing, DuckDuckGo, and others. And not just there: we’re probably one of the few companies that optimizes for AI search including ChatGPT, CoPilot, and Gemini.
